Coffman Cove is located in S.E. Alaska on the Inside Passage where summer, spring and early fall temperatures range from 60*-75* daytime and 40*-50* at night.
King Salomon can be caught in the cove in May and June just yards off the dock from a rented skiff.
In June through September numerous steams offer fly fishing or spinner fishing for Coho (Silver), sockeye (red), Pinks (humpies) or even Chum (dog) Salmon within short driving distances. Car rentals available in Coffman Cove.
Charters are available in Coffman Cove for Halibut, Red Snapper, Ling Cod and numerous other fish.
Clams are plentiful at low tide at the water’s edge.
Crabbing is easy from rented skiffs.
Whale watching and Cave exploration are favorite attractions of many.
Kayaking and fishing in the many lakes for Cutthroat, Rainbow and Dolly Varden Trout, which are abundant, is a great way to spend a day. These can be self-guided excursions.

Coffman Cove is located in the North East side of Prince of Wales Island. It is accessed by float plane from Ketchikan, AK or Wrangell, AK. Or, by the Inter-Island Ferry from Ketchikan to Hollis, and a beautiful hour paved drive across the island.
Car and Skiff Rentals can be arranged for self-guided trips at addition cost. Charter for Halibut and Ocean fishing can also be arranged at additional cost.
